These articles offer a taste of my non-fiction
writing. I like to write book reviews and profiles on other writers and authors. Some of my favorite subjects to pen are ~ prayer, the
homeless, childhood, family life, American history, local history, almost anything about Lake Tahoe, grandparenting, growing up a baby-boomer, our soldiers, the three years I lived in England, why I love books in print, traveling, the 'Misadventures' of Missy & Jacob, music and art.
This was the beginng for me.
My best friend Anne Ruff and I were co-editors of the school newspaper ~ 'The Loom'. It was a challenging senior year. I wrote an article in the 1980's about my 1973 editoral on the Viet Nam War and how it influenced my decision to
become a writer.
