before they ruin the sisters birthdays?
Nana seems to know but she isn't telling, Why?

Mr. Snowman Ate Our Picnic Lunch
The littest Blake sisters, Sharon and Kelsey, are upset about being left behind at their grandparents cabin when their parents and four older sisters go skiing at Squaw Valley.
After finishing a yummy cup of hot cocoa and gingerbread cookies, Papa suggests the girls build their first snowman. Nana packs a picnic lunch that disappears and Sharon is certain the snowman has eaten the sandwiches. Kelsey thinks her sister is being silly. Maybe the mama deer and her fawn or the bunny under the thimbleberry bush ate the lunch?
What do you think?

Nana's Tin of Buttons
Nana's Tin of Buttoms is the 4th book in the Blake Sisters Adventure Illustrated
Story Book Series. This is the spring book with the Wildflowers of Tahoe in the back
for teaching and learning purposes.
All six sisters are visiting their Nana and Papa's Lake Tahoe cabin, waiting for the new baby to be born. Will they have a new brother or another sister? How long will it take?
How will they pass time on a rainy Tahoe day when they have to stay inside?
Nana brings out her tin of buttons and wants to teach the girls how to make necklaces.
Papa wants to go for a drive around the lake, if the weather ever clears up.
Where would you want to go if you were at Lake Tahoe ~ Fanny Bridge, Kings Beach?
Join Susannah, Katie, Marsha, Becky, Kelsey and Sharon on their spring adventure!
Bear Cub Adventure ~ Now Available at Lulu.com

The middle sisters, Becky and Marsha, are going on a camping trip, alone with their parents! Sugar Pine Point State Park, here they come!
The girls have dreams of campfires glowing, roasting hot dogs and making s'mores, hiking, fishing, canoeing...
Disaster strikes when the Stinky Boy Cavendish brothers show up just in time for the morning hike. What was the point of leaving their four sisters behind at the cabin if their parents invited the neighbors?
George and Robby are trying to earn a Cub Scout hiking badge and they have a compass!
The girls are working to earn Brownie badges and they don't have a compass. Humm...
Hike along and meet the Tahoe critters living in the forest on the trail ~raccoons, porcupines, beavers, squirrels, and a Mama bear and her cub.
What can the girls do to make sure the boys don't tag along when they go fishing in General Creek or canoeing on the lake?
A wise owl hoots answers in the tree at night above the sisters tent and their parenst have a surprise solution.

The Cameo Club Conspiracy
Jenny's best friend Sarah has to move all the way across the country just weeks before 2nd grade. Sarah's dad lost his job and the family is moving back east, where Mr. Fletcher grew up, in the house he grew up in, with the parents who raised him.
Grandma and Grandpa Fletcher are allergic to everything so Sarah is leaving her two dogs, one cat and annoying parrot with Jenny's family, the Gresham's.
The girls are determined to find a job for Sarah's dad in town, and will do anything it takes to keep their families together, next door neighbors, like they should be.
The industrious cohorts sabotage the moving truck on packing day, hold an ice cream social downtown to raise money and put an ad in the local newspaper that receives an odd but hopeful response.
Join two creative best friends as they map out their California to New York "Great 'unadventue' of a lifetime".

Novel
I have finished the final rewrite of my literary fiction novel. My faithful writers group bravely critiques the vignettes and chapters, hands them back to me, I rewrite and edit. Then, we do it again...
The Language of the Lake
Set in the summer of 1995, Emily Harrison Taylor, a young widow, seeks sanctuary at her grandmother's cabin on the north shore of Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California.
Searching for truth amid the debris of her marriage, a faded memory from her childhood re-emerges, exposing a long guarded family secret. Past and present entwine, revealing more than Emily anticipated, forever altering the course of her life and those she loves, hates and needs to forgive.
Childhood friend, Jack Conner, works as a Physician's Assistant with Dr. John Walters at cabin next door. Doc and Jack are lifelong friends with the Harrison family, though Jack's relationship with Emily remains - complicated.
A womanizing, perenial teenager, in Emily's opinion, Jack employes humor, antagonism, and flagrant badgering, attempting to earn back her trust and friendship as he deals with his own inner conflicts.
Doc has been the Harrison family physican since Emily and her twin brother, Edward were born in the summer of 1955. Since his wife, Annie's death in a boating accident seven years ago, Doc's new focus is mentoring Jack to take over the practice.
Nana; Hannah Mae Harrison, is the wise sage in her granddaughter's life, loving her in spite of her willful and often self-centered ways. An old southern gal in her early nineties, Nana speaks a special language known to those who live on Tahoe's shores.
Emily's two daughter's, Olivia and Sarah, go off to college on the heels of their father's tragic death.
